LeBron James’ Mom Provides Optimistic Timetable on When Lakers Star is Expected to Return

LeBron James suffered a high ankle sprain about a week and a half ago. The four-time NBA champion had to leave the game against the Atlanta Hawks and the team ruled him out for the night. The Lakers ruled LeBron out indefinitely. Lakers players miss his dominance a lot. He is a key player in LA and everyone follows his leadership. When will he return? His mother Gloria has promising info on LeBron and the timetable of his return.

“He should be back in 3 to 4 weeks. Four weeks on the safer side,” said Gloria.

LeBron was in the middle of an amazing season. He was the frontrunner for the NBA MVP award for the season. He is averaging 25.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 7.9 assists per game with the Lakers. LeBron saw more minutes this season and he even helped the team win games in overtime. Anthony Davis has been out since mid-February and LeBron had to step in.

The Lakers struggled in LeBron’s absence. AD has yet to return to the floor. He is treating his strained calf and Achilles tendonosis.

LeBron James’ mom may be right about the timetable of his return

Gloria’s timetable for LeBron’s return may not be really accurate. However, it does show us that her son is dealing with a serious injury.

The front office signed Andre Drummond after he got his buyout contract from the Cleveland Cavaliers. The big man was supposed to make a big splash on the floor as he is the best rebounder in the NBA. Sadly, Drummond didn’t have the best debut with the Lakers. He had to leave the game after losing a toenail in the first half. Drummond made his debut against the Milwaukee Bucks but things didn’t go the way he planned. Hopefully, he won’t miss too much time on the floor. LA needs him. He signed with the team for a reason.

Drummond will help the Lakers win games with LeBron and AD out. Head coach Frank Vogel isn’t really worried about the team right now. He is confident about their game.
