LeBron James Sends Message About Russell Westbrook

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James took notice of all the criticism Russell Westbrook received these days. Stephen A. Smith and other media members questioned if Westbrook’s “gaudy statistics” translate to his victories.

The Washington Wizards veteran point guard has earned a bunch of critics in the past few days. King James is here to support him and we bet other NBA players will do the same.

The four-time NBA champion suffered a terrible high-ankle sprain on March 20 and has yet to return to game action. But, LeBron uses every opportunity to support his teammates. He travels with the team and celebrates their success at the sidelines. Anthony Davis did the same when he was recovering. He and LeBron accompanied Lakers players on their road trips.

King James traveled to Washington to watch his team play against the Wizards on Wednesday night. Wes put on a show and LeBron enjoyed watching him.

The Wizards veteran had his 31^st triple-double of the 2020-21 season. He finished the night with 18 points, 18 rebounds, and 14 assists in his 41 minutes of action on Wednesday. Washington is one of the best teams in the NBA. His Wizards defeated the Lakers 116-107 and it was pretty tense.

LeBron James stands by Russell Westbrook

On Thursday morning, LeBron took to his accounts to defend the nine-time All-Star point guard.

“We know y’all HATE & don’t APPRECIATE but we just laugh it off! But 1 thing you will do is RESPECT IT/US,” LeBron wrote on Instagram and shared two pictures of him and Westbrook on the sideline after the loss.

Getting LeBron’s support sure means a thing. Westbrook earned these words of praise with his incredible performance. He had a shaky start to the regular season but has had a big role with the team.

When it comes to LeBron, the Los Angeles Lakers can’t wait to have him back on the floor. He has missed significant time with the team and his teammates lost too many games. Let’s see how will his recovery go. He misses the game and would really love to return to the floor.
