LeBron James Sends Message to Luka Doncic After Epic Shot
Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James respects great players and he definitely likes Luka Doncic. The 22-year-old has attracted the attention of pretty much every basketball fan out there. Coaches and players respect his talent. Young superstars have issues with their game in the clutch. But, this doesn’t apply to Doncic.
The great player hit an amazing game-winning 3-pointer to defeat the Memphis Grizzlies.
LeBron took notice of the shot, and his reaction was piceless.
Many would agree that this is one of the best shots of the regular season. We will be watching it on highlight reels for quite some time. The Dallas Mavericks have low numbers this season. However, players have found their groove. If Dallas moves into the top-five seeds in the West, we will definitely see Doncic in the MVP race. LeBron, James Harden and Joel Embiid have missed a lot of time, so the race will be wide open at the end of the season.
Lakers’ LeBron James praised Luka Doncic
LeBron is a fan of Doncic. In 2020, LeBron said he had tried to get the Mavericks superstar to be his first signing with Nike.
“Luka is one of my favorite players in the NBA today. For the simple fact of, the way I play the game is exactly how I love the way he plays the game,” LeBron said on the Road Trippin’podcast. “Team-first, gets his guys involved, if you challenge me to score, I’m gonna score. And at the same time, I’m gonna score, but I’m gonna keep my guys involved. … I play for the team, and I’m gonna play with a sense of joy.
“When Luka was going through his contract negotiations with Nike, and you saw him at one point he would wear Jordans, and started wearing the other brands on his feet during practices. … I wanted to begin ‘Team LeBron’ and have Luka as my first signing with Nike.”
Greatness meets greatness, right?
