LeBron James Spotted Wearing The Most Controversial Watch of 2021

Four-time NBA champion LeBron James wore the most controversial watch in 2021. Well, he is the highest-paid basketball player after all. Try not to ignore the fact that LeBron is also one of the highest-paid athletes of all time. The kid from Akron became the best basketball player of all time. His net worth is pretty high and it grows bigger every year. This gives LeBron the opportunity to enjoy the best rides and wear the best watches. His watch collection is pretty insane and we are a little jealous.

We have seen him wear Richard Miles, Rolexes and even a Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. LeBron loves his wrist candies. When it comes to Royal Oaks, LeBron added another piece to his collection. This one is a pretty mind-blowing artwork. Some would say this is the most controversial watch of the year.

LeBron James wears another cool watch in 2021 season

LeBron suffered an injury on March 20 and has yet to return to the floor. But, he attends pretty much every game his team plays and motivates teammates to win. He and Anthony Davis travel with the Lakers and follow the game from the sidelines.

Fans and the media saw something interesting in the game against the Boston Celtics. LeBron was wearing an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept “Black Panther” Flying Tourbillon (ref. 26620IO.OO.D077CA.01) worth a cool 150,000 CHF (~163,000 USD / 211,000 AUD).

You can’t miss this one, right?

This is the first of the long line of “character watches” AP plans to produce in the collab with Marvel. The Rock Panther watch has an elaborate sculpture of the superhero carved out of white gold. It features a 42 mm sandblasted titanium case and an eye-catching purple strap.

This model is a limited edition of 250 pieces. Another one-off version of the watch with an engraved white gold case and purple highlights was sold at a big auction to an anonymous Chinese buyer. The model was worth $5.2 million.

LeBron will sure rock another great watch in the next few months. He is the ultimate collectionner, remember?
