Legendary NBA Star Has Blunt Message For LeBron James

NBA star LeBron James is the best basketball player of all time and everyone knows it. He has earned an army of fans throughout the years. Well, LeBron has also earned a bunch of enemies. Is he bothered with this? Of course not. The four-time NBA champion is focused on his return and the next game on his schedule. LeBron helped the Lakers win the first title since Kobe Bryant’s retirement. LeBron has earned a spot in the GOAT debate and some people would rather vote for someone else.

Julius Erving is one of them. The NBA star doesn’t have LeBron on his all-time teams. Wonder why? The man has one particular reason to leave LeBron out.

In his appearance on “Posted Up with Chris Haynes,” Erving was asked to share his all-time NBA first and second teams.

Dr. J has Elgin Baylor, Wilt Chamberlain, Oscar Robertson, Bill Russell and Jerry West on his first team. His second includes Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan and Karl Malone.

Where’s LeBron? He has some crazy stats.

The NBA star drops a shocker on LeBron James

Erving isn’t the only one who say LeBron is responsible for all the super teams forming in the league.

“He’s the guy who has led the charge in terms of super teams,” Erving told Haynes. “When he put together a team in Miami, he put together a team in Cleveland as well, and he put together a team in Los Angeles. So, he can pick his own team. I ain’t going to pick his team.”

This was a rather bold move for the Hall of Famer. We have heard people exclude LeBron for horrible reasons. Erving knows a lot about the game, and we can’t really argue his choices. But we also know that LeBron tried really hard to come this far.

LeBron is leading the Los Angeles Lakers to another title win. He will soon return to the floor, and that will be the ultimate chance to prove doubters wrong.
