Report: Lakers Announce When Fans Will be Allowed Back in Staples Center

Los Angeles Lakers fans weren’t able to attend games at the Staples Center. It looks like the whole thing will change in a week. Fans will go back to the arena beginning on April 15. LA will play against the Boston Celtics in that game.

“We are incredible excited that the State of California announced guidelines today that will allow Lakers fans to return to STAPLES Center.

“Now that we have the guidance, we will work with LA County Public Health and STAPLES Center to finalize our plans to have fans safely attend our games starting with the Lakers vs. Celtics game on April 15th.

“We look forward to welcoming Lakers fans back to STAPLES Center to continue our journey with us to defend our NBA title.”

Lakers fans will watch the team win games at the Staples Center

Due to the problems related to COVID-19, Lakers players played their games at the arena this season without any fans in attendance.

There has been a significant drop in coronavirus cases. A great number of people have been vaccinated. LA players will be back to normal sooner than expected. The situation seems to be under control.

The game against Boston will renew one of the greatest NBA rivalries in league history. It will happened a month prior to the end of the 2020-21 season.

The Lakers are trying to defend their NBA title from last season. LeBron James and his teammates were able to win the games inside a bubble in Orlando.

LeBron and Anthony Davis are out now. LA signed Andre Drummond to solve the issue. However, the big man left his debut with the team due to a foot injury. He lost a toenail in the first quarter of the game.

LeBron will probably miss a few weeks on the floor. The same applies to Davis. Drummond will probably miss a couple of games. He is out for the game against the Sacramento Kings. But, everything will get back to normal in a couple of weeks.
