Yes, young players have enough money to buy nice presents for their parents. We can easily say Jonathan Jones will get the “Son of the Year” award in New England, and he has the perfect surprise for his father.

The versatile defensive back surprised his father Stacey. His surprise came in the form of a 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible 442. Prior to giving Stacey his new car, Jones cracked a joke about the reasons he had to buy this gift.

Jones was really excited about the car. He even said that if Stacey didn’t cry, they’d take the car back. Is this the perfect deal? It’s definitely a good joke. Jones hopes that his father will be super excited about the ride. He deserves this and much more. Jones knows this and he would gladly make his day.

“‘Bout to surprise him with his favorite car. Hope he’s ready,” Jones said in a video shared by the Patriots’ official Twitter account. “If he don’t cry, we’re gonna take it back. That’s the deal. Nah, I hope he’s excited. He’s done too much for me. He deserves this thing and more, so hopefully we make his day today.”

We watched this video and we can definitely say that Stacey was really excited about the gift. He really liked the ride. I mean, it’s the car from his dreams.

The Patriots signed Jones as an undrafted free agent in 2016. He will enter his sixth season with the Patriots. The 27-year-old is under contract with the team through the 2022 season.

Jones is a key member of the Patriots team and head coach Bill Belichick has high expectations from him. The team is entering an important season and players will have to step up.
