They entered the new season as the top seed but injuries plagued the team and the rest is history. Lakers players may have to take part in the play-in tournament. It will be a short battle and LeBron wants to avoid it at any cost. They defeated the Indiana Pacers but need another win to avoid the extra game. Of course, other teams should align with their needs.

Lakers players need more of LeBron’s dunks to make the postseason. That’s the only way to avoid being relegated to the play-in part of the postseason. Several teams will have to play an extra game on the final day of the regular season.
