Anthony Davis Issues a Strong Response to Critics Who Say he’s Soft

The Los Angeles Lakers made their way to the quarterfinals in the Western Conference. They will play against Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns. The team worked really hard to defeat the Golden State Warriors. Stephen Curry is going home and LeBron James is taking his team to the playoffs. Wonderful, right? Well, critics aren’t really excited about this. Some of them have bashed the team for their performance. Others claim Anthony Davis is too soft, and he slammed critics. The “soft” guy had the perfect response to them all.

The Lakers big man offered a nice response to those who say his style is soft.

Anthony Davis ignores critics

AD discussed this during his convo with Southern California News Group prior to the team’s first playoff game against the Suns. He was loud and clear and we believe critics got the message.

“I don’t give a f— – it’s as simple as that,” Davis said. “If there are people who say that, most of them probably never were in the game. I really don’t care.

We couldn’t agree more. Davis is not playing to make everyone happy. He is playing to lead the Lakers to a title this season, and hopefully, he will get his second ring. Players can’t cope with outside noise at this point. They shouldn’t even think of all the loud-mouths trying to distract them. LeBron knows that.

Fans of opposite teams would do whatever it takes to distract superstars. LA won a title inside the bubble and they can do the same again. Everyone is healthy and Frank Vogel likes the way players handle the ball at this point. LeBron recovered from his injury and AD feels great. That’s the only thing that matters in the playoffs.

We all know that Davis likes to play forward instead of center. But, this doesn’t make him soft. It works well for his style.

The road to recovery was really long and Davis is trying to avoid other injuries. He has to stay healthy to finish the series and move on to the next challenge.
