Check Out First Photos Of Mac Jones, Patriots Rookies On Practice Field

Quarterback Mac Jones had the chance to hit the field with New England Patriots rookies. The 15^th overall pick had his first practice reps as a Patriot. The first-round quarterback and other members of the Patriots’ 2021 draft class took part in rookie minicamp during the weekend.

New England on Saturday shared 28 photos from the workouts. We saw shots of Jones, Rhamondre Stevenson, Christian Barmore and others.

The Patriots finish rookie minicamp Sunday afternoon. They will then work on organized team activities. Players will spend more time together on May 24.

Mac Jones and Patriots rookies to win a lot of games

The NFL announced the tentative offseason workout program dates for the 2021 offseason. Patriots rookies will be in town May 14-16 and full offseason workouts start off a week later.

Second-year defensive back Kyle Dugger had an advice for this season’s rookies. He talked about it during a season ticket holder event on Wednesday night. According to Dugger, they should pay attention to detail off the field and keep notes. Dugger also advised everyone to stay  top of things that are critical.

OTA Offseason Workouts are set for May 24-25, May 27, June 1, June 3-4, June 7-8, June 10-11.

Having an in-person Minicamp is a big advantage for this class. Dugger didn’t have the privilege and rookies like Jones could definitely use it to prepare for what’s coming next.

The offseason wraps up June 15-17 for Mandatory Minicamp and we will finally get a first glimpse of the full Patriots team for 2021.

Head coach Bill Belichick selected an excellent group of players in the draft. He filled up pretty much every spot and Patriots coaches will be working with a lot of talented guys. Belichick signed a good batch of veterans in free agency and it will be super exciting seeing them win games at Gillette Stadium.
