Dennis Schroder Slammed Online for Tone-Deaf Comment to Montrezl Harrell

Dennis Schroder and Montrezl Harrell joined the Los Angeles Lakers at the same time. They are great players and they both contribute to the game. However, this time Lakers fans had something else to talk about.

Harrell wears his heart on his sleeve. Simple as that. He is a passionate player who had to deal with many off-court issues in the last couple of years. He lost his mother last year and Mother’s Day is really hard for him.

Harrell took to his Instagram to deliver a message for his granny.

It was a great message for the great woman. Harrell said she was his “entire world.” Sadly, Schroder made everything really hard.

“That’s Tuff,” he wrote. Well this is the last thing Harrell needed at the moment. He uses the same comment on every post. He also has a trademark on the phrase.

Some say this was a really bizarre comment. Harrell expressed his sadness for his granny and Schroder made everything so hard for him. The guard faced harsh criticism online and people keep talking about it.

Dennis Schroder likes Montrezl Harrell a lot

Schroder didn’t mean to be this insensitive. But, he definitely shocked us all.

Schroder and Harrell work really great together and their relationship is amazing.  Maybe Harrell didn’t even see Schroder’s comment. He has probably noticed that Harrell leaves this comment everywhere.

The German native isn’t playing with the team. He is in the league’s health and safety protocol. Schroder may be out for the rest of the regular season. Lakers head coach Frank Vogel said the team hopes to have him back for the final two games of the regular season.

“We’re really still hopeful that he can return for the final two games—or one of those final two games—to get a little bit of run before we enter playoff play,” Vogel said Sunday, via The OC Register. “And he’s limited, obviously, with what he can do from a conditioning standpoint but just trying to make the best of it.”
