Frank Vogel gives Major Update on LeBron James Reaggravating His High Ankle Injury

Los Angeles Lakers head coach Frank Vogel discussed the performance of LeBron James and his ankle injury. The king of basketball re-aggravated his injury in the fourth quarter of the regular-season finale. LeBron and his teammates played against the New Orleans Pelicans. Fans got a little worried late in the fourth quarter of the game.

LeBron gave us a scare, but the Lakers head coach says there’s no room for pessimism. Vogel provided an optimistic update on his superstar.

According to him, King James is “good to go,” adding that there are “no issues.”

Los Angeles finished the night with a 110-98 win. New Orleans lacked some of its top players. The Lakers finished seventh in the Western Conference. They were plagued with injuries and superstars missed a lot of time.

LeBron James is not worried about his ankle injury

LeBron missed several weeks due to his injury. Anthony Davis left the game mid-February and sat out the next two months due to a calf strain and Achilles tendonosis.

These two aren’t the only Lakers players to miss time. Veteran point guard Dennis Schroder missed several games due to the NBA’s health and safety protocols. This was his second “break” in the regular season. But, Schroder didn’t say much regarding his absence. The veteran didn’t test positive and that’s pretty much everything he said. Reporters insisted on asking more questions about the games he missed but Schroder stayed mum.

The Lakers will meet Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday. They have to win this play-in game. Most NBA experts would agree that this is one of the biggest challenges LA had in the regular season.

Going against Curry and his teammates won’t be easy. LeBron believes that Curry is the real MVP for the season. He watched him play and has already lost many playoff games to the Golden State. It will be a good match and you don’t want to miss it. LeBron is healthy and so is his teammate. They look really great on the floor and we are looking forward to another win.
