Frank Vogel Shares Encouraging News On LeBron James

The Los Angeles Lakers really miss their superstar. Lakers head coach Frank Vogel is an optimist regarding LeBron James. Moreover, he provided a promising update on the four-time NBA champion.

This is more than good news for every fan out there.

According to Vogel, LeBron will probably return for game action in the next few days.

LeBron had to miss the last four games due to an ankle injury. This injury kept him on the sidelines for 20 games. LeBron suffered his terrible injury on March 20. He had to leave the game against the Atlanta Hawks. NBA fans missed him on the floor. LeBron was out from March 21 to April 28.

Shams Charania from The Athletic reported that the kid from Akron will probably see action tomorrow night in the game against the New York Knicks. If this doesn’t happen, LeBron will play against the Houston Rockets. He will definitely play Wednesday.

This afternoon Lakers head coach Vogel said LeBron was a full participant in today’s practice. Vogel didn’t say much about LeBron’s status for tomorrow’s game. However, this is more than a good sign for everyone interested in watching this game.

The Lakers own the seventh spot in the Western Conference. They are one game behind the sixth-place Portland Trail Blazers. The team has four games on the regular schedule. If LA doesn’t overtake the Blazers and get a spot in the top six seeds, they will have to play in the play-in tournament.

It’s really important that LeBron returns to action this week. LA missed him a lot. The Lakers will play against the New York Knicks and the Houston Rockets in a back-t0-back tomorrow and Wednesday before going against the Indiana Pacers and New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday and Sunday.

The Lakers have a chance to avoid the play-in tournament. LeBron doesn’t like the new rule and he would really want to avoid it. The Golden State Warriors will probably end up in the play-in tournament. Bad news for Curry, right?
