Julian Edelman Has Blunt Response To Bucs Speculation

Julian Edelman took notice of all the Bucs speculation lately. The man decided to retire after 12 long seasons in the NFL. He was plagued with injuries and decided to call it career. The veteran wideout struggled with terrible injuries last season and missed 10 games in the regular season. He had surgery to fix his knee and needed a lot of time to recover.

Edelman made a decision and it looks like it’s official. He is retiring from the game of football. But, some people believe that Edelman will soon return. Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, a bunch of Bucs players and fans would love to see Edelman back on the field. Will he come out of his retirement to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers? Gronk did the same. He retired, stayed retired for a year and unretired to join Brady in Tampa Bay. What happened next? The Bucs won the Super Bowl last season. It was team work and the Buccaneers worked really great together.

Edelman was loud and clear about his retirement. Brady wouldn’t agree on this one. He added fuel to the fire and shocked Patriots fans. He also shocked Bucks fans.

“We know Julian didn’t retire,” Brady said this weekend. “Let’s be honest. He’s just too scared to tell Bill (Belichick) he wants to come to Tampa.”

This is just another story related to Edelman’s retirement. Pat McAfee took to Twitter to talk about Edelman’s retirement. The wideout took notice of the comments and shared a simple reaction.

He said he wasn’t going anywhere.

The Bucs have added tons of depth at wide receiver. They brought back Antonio Brown and drafted former North Texas standout Jaelon Darden over the weekend.

The Bucs quarterback is fired up about Daren. Brady has Brown and Darden to work with. Nice receiving group, right?

Edelman’s Patriots signed a group of talented players and they will try to fix the damage this season. Head coach Bill Belichick drafted Mac Jones and he may be their quarterback of the future.
