Lakers’ Anthony Davis Speaks Out on Game 4 Status vs Suns

The Los Angeles Lakers lost too many games in the absence of LeBron James and Anthony Davis, and the big man has shared his thoughts on Game 4. The Lakers made the series against the Phoenix Suns but lost the very first game. They did win the next two though.

But, something terrible happened in Game 3. Davis was brilliant in the second half of the game but struggled with discomfort at some points of the game. AD grabbed his knee and his hamstring and fans panicked. The big man had an amazing performance and led his team to a win. This injury is pretty awkward.

There have been several questions about Davis’ status for the upcoming game. Will he play in Game 4?

Anthony Davis is ready for Game 4

The Lakers listed Davis and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope as questionable on the injury report. Davis shot down every doubt with his comment. His response was pretty clear.

Here’s what Davis said:

This is probably the most anticipated series. It is dominated by injury-related uncertainty. A lot of players struggled with injuries. Donovan Mitchell and Jamal Murray suffered their injuries and this had a terrible impact on the game.

Chris Paul of the Phoenix Suns sustained an injury that cut his time on the field. The Lakers saw this as an advantage and took a 2-1 lead. This makes us remember the 2018 Western Conference finals. Paul’s injury stopped the Houston Rockets from defeating the Golden State Warriors. Andre Iguodala from the Warriors was injured midway through the round, but Paul’s injury shot down every chance for a win. If Paul stayed healthy, Houston would have had a good chance to win and make their way to the NBA Finals.

So, Davis is playing on Sunday and we won’t even question his efficacy. He will have two days to rest and prepare for the night.
