Lakers Big Man Montrezl Harrell Sends Cryptic Message

Montrezl Harrell delivered the right cryptic message at the right time. Sort of. The Los Angeles Lakers veteran hasn’t seen any game action in the last two playoff games of the series against the Phoenix Suns.

The veteran liked a few tweets questioning why he hasn’t seen any action. He tweeted his cryptic post prior to the Game 3 win over Phoenix.

“I trust no one promises are only open high risk for letdowns!” Harrell wrote.

Montrezl Harrell surprised fans with a cryptic message

Harrell wrote a message to those who doubt his potential.

“Talk bout me all you wanna, don’t get it twisted. I will bust your favorite player ass in this game still!”

There were some cool things about his posts. Harrell shared a video of him and LeBron James celebrating a nice play.

“Hit that walk wit me OG,” Harrell wrote.

LeBron responded, “You already know Monsta!”

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel played Marc Gasol and Andre Drummond. Anthon Davis is here, and Harrell didn’t get much time on the floor.

Harrell isn’t the best opponent to DeAndre Ayton.

“Yeah, we’re going to look at everything,” Vogel said prior to the series. “One of the games that we played Marc [Gasol] and Trezz together against Phoenix and they had some success.

“Obviously, we looked at some things defensively that were a concern as well, but everybody has to stay ready, including being able to use lineups at the five and we’ll do everything we’ll be able to do to win that game and like I said, everybody’s staying ready for when their number is called.”

The Lakers got Drummond in the offseason, and Vogel warned centers to prepare for the challenge.

“Those guys got to stay ready,” Vogel said. “It’s my job to keep them ready. That’s going to be the plan going forward. And we’re going to need all three of them.”

Vogel will do the right thing for his team. Maybe Harrell will get his minutes on the floor in the next few games.
