NBA Reportedly Makes Decision On LeBron James After Protocol Violation

The Los Angeles Lakers face difficulties at the moment. The franchise won the first game of the play-in tournament, securing a spot in the playoffs. Lakers players will meet the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the playoffs, but there’s a major obstacle on their way. Or not? According to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, LeBron James broke the NBA protocols earlier this week. It was a shocking report and fans started asking questions about LeBron’s status in the playoffs. Will he miss any games? It looks like the NBA has made a decision on LeBron.

According to the report, the four-time NBA champion violated the NBA’s health and safety protocols before the game against the Golden State Warriors in the play-in tournament. LeBron attended a promotional event for the tequila brand he supports. This is a rather unfortunate event. LA didn’t need this at the moment.

It’s a terrible timing. Lakers players have to avoid situations of this kind. They are playing their first game against the Phoenix Suns tomorrow. Losing the king is unacceptable at this point. LA lost a lot of games in LeBron’s absence. He missed 20+ games due to a high ankle sprain and the team slipped to No.7 seed.

The NBA made good decision on LeBron

There’s no room for panic at the moment. Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the NBA won’t suspend LeBron for breaking the protocol. The Lakers have addressed the incident and we will provide more information on the future development of events.

“LeBron James won’t be suspended for protocols violation, sources tell ESPN,” Wojnarowski said. “Nature of event didn’t rise to a threat level of virus spread, as described in Dave McMenamin’s story.”

The 36-year-old is the best player in the NBA. Age has nothing on him and he plays his best basketball. LeBron said he may not be 100% at this point but we know that he looks really good on the floor. The king of basketball finished the 2020-21 NBA season with 25.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 7.8 assists per game.
