The New England Patriots are going against the Miami Dolphins in the season opener. The team has announced the first game and fans are already excited. Patriots fans were waiting for the schedule and now they got some news. The best part? They will be able to attend the game.

Gillette Stadium will welcome fans in September. Loyal fans will be able to attend the game between their favorite team and a familiar AFC East opponent.

New England plays against the Miami Dolphins in Week 1. They played against Miami in Week 1 last season. For those interested in the game, kickoff is set for 4:25 Eastern on September 12.
