Report: Update On LeBron James Return From Injury

Four-time NBA champion LeBron James missed too much time due to his injury. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar missed a lot of games and forced his return to the floor. This wasn’t a great idea as LeBron only played two weeks. He re-aggravated his injury and had to sit out four games due to his soreness.

The Lakers are playing against the New York Knicks at Staples Center on Tuesday night. This game will help us get a clearer picture about the upcoming playoffs. Unfortunately, the Lakers will play without LeBron. He won’t suit up for the game against New York.

Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN reported that LeBron plans to rest his ankle for another day. He is missing the game with the Nicks. What does that mean? LeBron plans to return to game action for the game against the Houston Rockets.

This update goes against reports from earlier this week. Initial reports suggested that LeBron will probably play on Tuesday. Well, we believe the 36-year-old decided to play safe before the start of the postseason. The Lakers have a few games left on the regular-season schedule. King James will help them win these contests.

LeBron James recovers from his injury

LeBron is the best player in the league. Before suffering his injury, LeBron was averaging 25.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 7.8 assists per game with the team. The ankle strain turned out to be a rather tricky issue. LeBron is no longer chasing the MVP award. He was never into getting the individual report. Staying healthy and strong for the postseason is his only priority.

The Lakers will have to make the Western Conference playoffs first. They hold the No.7 seed in the Western Conference. LA has a 38-30 record at this point of the season.

If the regular season ended today, LA would face Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in the first round of the Western Conference play-in tournament. This means LA will meet Curry on the court and one single game will seal their destiny.
