New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft bought a Hamptons mansion. He got it in an off-market deal and paid $43 million. The information was confirmed by two sources close to the Kraft family. This is one of the biggest transactions to close in the wealthy beach destination in 2021.
The property is located on Meadow Lane in Southampton, N.Y. It is one of the most expensive properties on Long Island Henry Kravis, the billionaire co-founder of private equity giant KKR is also a Meadow Lane owner. Ken Griffin and Leon Black are also in the area.
Kraft’s new home was never put up for a sale so we don’t know much about the property. It is a 7,000 square-foot home and it was first built in 2017. The mansion replaced a historic cottage (A Wee Lyr Mor).

The main house is built in modern style. It features a pitched roof and large square windows arranged in a grid-like pattern. Oh, yes, the property also has a large oceanfront pool. Fancy, right?
The seller bought the property for $10.3 million in 2013. It’s a limited-liability company related to Nir Meir, a former partner at Manhattan real-estate development company HFZ Capital Group.
Kraft has some cool homes in his portfolio. His high-end homes have made some really cool headlines. The Patriots owner has homes in the Boston area and in Palm Beach, Fla. The Bloomberg Billionaires Index says its net worth goes at $6 billion.
Hedgerow Exclusive Properties was in charge of the deal. the Bridgehampton-based real-estate company worked on the purchase and Kraft got his fancy home.
Spokespersons for Kraft and Meir didn’t respond to initial requests for comments. We bet Kraft will enjoy his time in his new vacation home. Who wouldn’t? The property is heaven on earth and we really love it.
Kraft and his team were busy in the past few weeks. Head coach Bill Belichick and his staff made some interesting moves in the offseason. The 2021 NFL Draft was really successful for the Patriots.
