Suns Big Man Sends Message to Lakers Ahead of Game 4

The Phoenix Suns will challenge the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 4, and there are a few major obstacles on their way. Suns players have to elevate their game as they have already lost two straight games. Big man DeAndre Ayton is well aware of the current situation and he delivered the perfect message for his opponents.

Ayton played well in the series. He has three straight double-doubles. Well, he is a former No.1 overall pick, remember?

The Suns may end up dealing with a 3-1 series deficit. What does Ayton say about this?

“It’s going to be a dramatic type of desperation to be honest,” he told reporters. “We know what we have to do.”

The Suns lost Game 1, but they lost the next two games. They could sure use a healthy Chris Paul for the next game.

“We know how we played last game,” Ayton said. “We’ve gotten enough time to get in the lab and straighten up and sharpen up some things.”

Suns go against the Lakers in Game 4

The Los Angeles Lakers know the Suns won’t give up without a fight. LA players will give their best shot to cement their lead.

“We’ve got to have that mindset knowing that this team is going to come out with a lot of desperation,” Lakers star Anthony Davis said. “Guys might play a lot of minutes on their side. Guys are going to make shots, but we’ve got to continue to do what we do on both ends of the floor and we should be fine, but it’s going to be a big game.”

Paul hurt his shoulder in Game 1. He didn’t practice on Saturday and the team listed him as questionable for the game.

“It is what it is: You control what you can control,” Paul said. “I know I do everything on a daily basis to prepare myself to be ready to play. When things happen, they happen. You gotta overcome it and get through it.”

Paul looks like a shadow of himself. He finished the previous game with 27 minutes. The star scored seven points and six assists.
