Young Patriots Wide Receiver Uses 2 Words To Describe Julian Edelman

New England Patriots veteran wideout Julian Edelman is one of the best wideouts in league history. Well, a young Patriots wide receiver has nothing but words of praise for Jules.

Edelman decided to retire from football after 12 long seasons with the New England Patriots. Jules may be out of the world of football but he is definitely making an impact. Everyone appreciates his great performance and everything he accomplished in the last decade.

We can’t understate Edelman’s impact on the Patriots. He put consistent receiving numbers while with the Patriots. Edelman was also a leader in the Patriots locker room. Without any doubt, Edelman made his most important impression on the Patriots’ pass-catching unit.

Gunner Olszewski joined New England as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He was one of those who learned a lot from Edelman. So, what’s the first thing that pops in his mind when others talk about Edelman? The 24-year-old provided an interesting response. He was really honest and we appreciate that.

“Two words: ‘piss’ and ‘vinegar’,” Olszewski replied.

The Patriots wide receiver added another two works to finish his characterization of Edelman. He was honest once again. Many NFL analysts would agree on this one.

“Oh, I got two more: ‘competitive stamina’. That was his other one. I’m sure you’ve heard that before,” Olszewski said, per ESPN’s Mike Reiss.

Olszewski entered the NFL in the same way as Edelman. He became an adept returner on the Patriots’ special teams unit. He was also the first Patriots punt returned to be an All-Pro. Jules started his career on special teams. He was really great and head coach Bill Belichick noticed his potential.

Edelman made an impact on Olszewski in two years. He didn’t need much time to impress his younger teammate.

The world of football will remember Edelman as one the best football players. He turned the game into something special and Belichick once said Jules was one of the best players he has ever coached.
