LeBron James Sends Message After Kevin Durant Big Night

The entire world watched Kevin Durant lead the Brooklyn Nets to a 114-108 win. It was hot, tense, and exciting at the same time. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James took notice of the incredible performance and delivered a very special message for Durant.

The Nets veteran delivered 49 points on 16-of-23 shooting to go along with 17 rebounds and 10 assists. He played every minute of the game with Kyrie Irving on the sidelines and James Harden struggling with a hamstring injury.

LeBron and Durant are rivals on the floor. They met in the NBA Finals on multiple occasions, and a lot of analysts have compared their skills.

LeBron didn’t say Durant was the best player in the world, but Giannis Antetokounmpo sure said that.

“He’s the best player in the world right now and we’ve got to beat him as a team,” Antetokounmpo said after the loss.

Durant’s teammate Jeff Green agrees with the Greek Freak.

“The world is witnessing, once again, who the best player in the world is,” Green told reporters.

Green finished the game with 27 points off the bench.

Magic Johnson, LeBron James deliver the right message for Kevin Durant

Hall of Famer Magic Johnson discussed Durant’s great performance and praised his skills on the floor.

“Kevin Durant put on one of the greatest performances in NBA playoff history scoring 49 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists and leading his shorthanded Nets to victory taking a 3-2 lead,” Johnson wrote.

“Damn KD” became a trending topic and Durant’s performance went viral. Everyone is talking about it. The man did wonders and he will try to do the same at least once again.

“The boy [Kevin Durant] gave the Bucks a straight spanking tonight with a leather belt!” former NBAer turned ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins tweeted. “Btw I don’t want to hear a SINGLE word about Giannis and his defense because he was ducking KD all night! Carry the hell on…”

When it comes to the Lakers, they struggled too many injuries in the regular season. LeBron and Anthony Davis missed too much time and their teammates struggled to win.

“I think Rob (Pelinka) has done such a good job of constructing this team over the last few years, and he will continue to do that. I will have some input, he always asks for my input, has AD’s input, but at the end of the day we want to continue to get better,” LeBron said. “I trust Rob, I trust Kurt, I trust everyone upstairs that does their diligence and our coaching staff.”
