The Los Angeles Lakers are dealing with a major problem at the moment. Lakers guard Alex Caruso was arrested and faces two charges for possession. This happened at the worst moment possible. Lakers superstar LeBron James heard about the bad news and wrote a tweet for his great teammate Caruso.
LeBron and Caruso are really great friends. They have built an excellent relationship on the floor and their chemistry has helped the team win a lot of games.
Lakers fans received some bad news and things don’t look really well for the talented player.
Texas police officers arrested Caruso for marijuana possession as confirmed by the police report. NBA reporter Ben Rohrback shared a photo of the Lakers guard paired with some details of his arrest.

The police report shows that Texas A&M University police booked the guard on two charges. Authorities charged Caruso with marijuana possession of less than two ounces and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ramona Shelburne from ESPN reported that the Lakers tried to board a flight when he was stopped.
“The Transportation and Security Administration searched Caruso’s bags and found a herb grinder that contained marijuana,” the report said.
After the news broke on Tuesday night, Lakers fans cracked a few jokes at the player’s expense. In one of the videos, LeBron is paying for Caruso’s bond in order to release him.
King James took notice of the jokes and shared his joke, too. Joking about someone’s arrest is the last thing we should do at the moment. But these jokes are way too hilarious and we bet Caruso will have a good laugh, too.
Caruso is arrested for something that’s legal in over 15 states around the US.
The young Laker posted bond and the police released him shortly after the arrest.
The NBA will probably look into Caruso’s situation and they will probably fine him or something. Things like this don’t go unnoticed by Adam Silver and Co. Let’s see what happens in a few weeks.
