Montrezl Harrell Puts Lakers on Blast After Being Snubbed in Suns Series

The Phoenix Suns eliminated LeBron James and his team from the playoffs. The Los Angeles Lakers left the postseason too soon, giving doubters plenty of material to talk about. Lakers players are far from happy. I mean, they entered the 2020-21 season as favorites to win the championship. Anthony Davis sustained an injury in February, and LA lost many games in his absence. LeBron’s injury made everything worse and LA fell to No.7 in the West. Players had to take part in the play-in tournament. They won and earned their spot in the first round of the playoffs. Unfortunately, Phoenix had a solution to the purple and gold. Montrezl Harrell was really frustrated following the win and he has something to say about the Lakers organization.

Montrezl Harrell to leave the Lakers

The veteran signed a deal with the franchise right before the start of the regular season. Lakers fans were really excited about the signing. He is a talented player and LA was supposed to get the best of him. Well, Harrell doesn’t like the way head coach Frank Vogel handled him in the first-round exit.

The former Sixth Man of the Year only played four games against Phoenix. Harrell was averaging 9.8 minutes per game. He took to his Instagram stories to deliver a bold message. We guess Vogel won’t like any of this.

Harrell averaged 18 points per game in the postseason last year with the Los Angeles Clippers. He had a nice role with the Lakers but Vogel ignored him in the post season.

The veteran has yet to make a decision on his return to the Lakers. He will probably test free agency and sign with another team. Several NBA experts believe that the Lakers didn’t treat Harrell right in the first round. Harrell is a winner and maybe he will try his chances somewhere else. LA is not his home and maybe he will contribute with another team.

There are so many rumors swirling around the storied franchise. Colin Cowherd believes LA should trade Anthony Davis. Pelinka would gladly keep the core intact. He wants his top players to stay on the roster for the long run.
