Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is making headlines again. The NBA world reacted to LeBron James’ decision to change his jersey number and it’s the biggest news these days.

The four-time NBA champion really liked the idea. He wanted to change his jersey number and he is finally at it. It’s time for a big change and the king of basketball is doing his best to contribute to the team.

NBA insider Shams Charania of The Athletic was among the first to break the news. The Lakers superstar will be wearing No.6 with the team in the 2021-22 season.

LeBron gave up No.23 for the 2021-22 season, but Anthony Davis won’t rush and take it. The Lakers big man will probably keep No.3 for at least one more season. There have been a lot of rumors suggesting that he will take the number he had with the New Orleans Pelicans.

If LeBron puts together a few great seasons for the team while wearing No.6, he will definitely be the first basketball player in league history with four retired jerseys. Wilt Chamberlain has three retired jerseys and the same goes for Pete Maravich.
