These Notable Patriots Players Were Present At Latest OTA Practice

The New England Patriots took the field for their latest Organized Team Activities. Top Patriots players were present for the OTA. This time players had their session behind closed doors. Fans and media members weren’t allowed to attend it.

The team released a series of photos, giving us a closer look into the 2021 team. We got some extra info about the current team.

We know that running backs Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson and outside linebacker Chase Winovich attended and took part in Tuesday’s OTAs.

Stevenson and Winovich missed last Thursday’s practice. The session was open to reporters Harris attended the session but he didn’t practice. Sony Michel, James White, and Brandon Bolden. J.J. Taylor and Tyler Gaffney were the only available running backs for the practice.

Harris had a full-length sleeve on his left leg Tuesday.

Patriots players were present for the biggest portion of the OTA

Another photo from Tuesday showed rookie defensive tackle Christian Barmore. He missed the first open practice for the team. Barmore is the only Pats player assigned No. 51 after the Patriots released linebacker LaRoy Reynolds.

Cam Newton, Mac Jones, Jarrett Stidham, and Brian Hoyer took part in the practice. The 15th overall pick made the best headlines last week as he took reps behind the Newton. He was ahead of Stidham and Hoyer during 7-on-7 drills.

The Patriots have a really strong roster and head coach Bill Belichick is satisfied with his current team. He likes the players he got in free agency. Several players joined the team through the 2021 NFL Draft. It is time for a big show and fans are ready to see some real action. Let’s see what happens in the next few weeks. Belichick will cut some players and many experts believe that he will soon trade for a few more stars.

Newton will probably start games for the Patriots in September. However, Jones has a really good chance to replace Newton at some point of the season. Will Belichick let his rookie start games in his first year with the team?
