Adam Schefter Blasts N’Keal Harry For Requesting a Trade From New England Patriots

The New England Patriots may lose one of their wideout in the offseason. Adam Schefter has been following the situation in New England for quite some time, and he has something to say about N’Keal Harry and his trade request.

The third-year wideout requested a trade through his agent. It was a public request and Harry will probably leave Pats. Schefter doesn’t really believe that this was a smart move by the first-round pick.

The ESPN insider discussed Harry’s request in a recent podcast. What happened next? According to Schefter made a mistake. He shouldn’t have done this through the media. Schefter believes that Harry hurt his chances and put a bull’s eye on himself.

“Now, again, this, I don’t know was the wisest move that N’Keal Harry could have made,” Schefter said, via CBS Boston. “If he wants a trade, it would be very simple for him to go into the office of head coach Bill Belichick and privately tell him that he thinks it’s in the best interest of everybody to move on.

“But he did it publicly. And my guess would be that if you want out of New England, the way to do that would not be through the media, that if you’re going to do it that way, you hurt your chances and put a bull’s-eye on yourself for the summer.”

Will this request backfire? Shefter said “yes”!

Adam Schefter has a final word for N’Keal Harry

His trade request put a target on his back in training camp.

“And so I don’t think N’Keal Harry is going to get traded any time soon. I do think he has basically invited more attention and scrutiny on himself. But I don’t think he’s done anything to further his cause of wanting out of New England.”

Harry is trying to force his way out of New England. Well, some say that he will arrive on time for training camp later in July. Will he part ways with the Patriots? The only thing we can do is follow the situation.
