Carmelo Anthony has been linked to LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers for quite some time. Melo and LeBron entered the NBA at the same time, but their careers took a different turn. LeBron became the best basketball player of all time. Melo got stuck in the middle of nowhere.
There have been several rumors about Melo and the Lakers. The Lakers didn’t want him in 2018. LeBron signed with the team on the first day of his free agency, but the Lakers wouldn’t sign Melo. Well, we have at least one good reason to support this decision.
That’s not all. Melo added fuel to the fire with a simple photo. He took to his Twitter account to share a photo of himself, his son, LeBron and his son.
What does this mean? LeBron and Melo are hanging out together? Will they play together in the upcoming season? We will have to wait and see what happens next.

LeBron and his Lakers teammates missed the chance to defend the title in the first round of the NBA Finals. They were defeated by Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns.
Melo’s team didn’t have much luck either. The Portland Trail Blazers lost the chance to win more games. The Denver Nuggets played much better and Portland was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. Melo had similar destiny to LeBron.
Here’s another fun fact. Melo will enter free agency this offseason. Will he find a home somewhere in the NBA? He has a lot to offer and NBA teams will sure benefit from his performance.
The Lakers are trying to boost their roster and they have several holes to cover. General Manager Rob Pelinka will have to make some changes and strengthen the backcourt. Who is the first player to join the team?
