Colin Cowherd Thinks Lakers Should Trade Anthony Davis For Damian Lillard

Colin Cowherd has an awkward suggestion for the Los Angeles Lakers and he believes that the franchise should pull out a trade deal. Who is the first to go?

Damian Lillard is loyal to the Portland Trail Blazers, but his time with the team is probably over. Blazers fans are not really happy with his attitude and everything he brings to the table. Portland will soon erupt and they will probably make a few moves.

Fans, analysts, and players trashed Lillard for his support of newly-added Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups. Yes, people still talk about the 1997 rape allegation. This scandal is still making headlines. The star point guard didn’t say a word about the allegations. He just threw the hat into the ring for the Billups.

NBA analysts still talk about the situation in Portland. They have enough material to discuss potential trades and LIllard’s situation with the team.

Colin Cowherd says the Lakers should do a trade

The Fox Sports analyst talked about this on Friday’s episode of The Herd w/Colin Cowherd. He has a nice proposal for the team. Yes, this will definitely be a blockbuster trade for both teams.

According to Cowherd, the Lakers should get Lillard and trade Anthony Davis. This is probably the hottest theory ever.

Cowherd said that the Lakers got what they need from AD. This is an NBA championship. The big man won his first ring in the NBA. Davis brought him in for a reason and yes, they did win a title.

Analysts are well aware of the fact that Davis is prone to injuries. Maybe the Blazers will get someone who is less-prone to injuries.

“This is not a 5 year league anymore. It’s year-to-year,” he said. “I would do it tomorrow.”

AD missed more than 30 games this past season. He suffered a groin injury and it was the final drop. LA lost the chance to win back-to-back titles.

Lillard is pretty consistent. He played almost every game in his nine-year professional career. He will help LeBron lead the team without missing time. That’s more than awesome, right?
