Jared Dudley Plans To Free Alex Caruso And Other Lakers Free Agent Shenanigans

The Los Angeles Lakers will see some more changes in the offseason. The franchise was eliminated by the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the series. LeBron James and Anthony Davis would really love to have a third superstar on the field. But, Jared Dudley did something interesting and he would love to free Alex Caruso. Sort of.

The Lakers remained really quiet in the past few weeks. They finished the 2020-21 NBA season on June 3.

The 2021 NBA Draft will start in a few weeks, and Rob Pelinka will be super busy with the upcoming free agency. What about the Summer League?

Pelinka has a lot of free agents on the roster and some of them will probably leave the franchise. LA has to improve the shooting, athleticism, and health around LeBron and AD.

David Fizdale is taking Jason Kidd’s place on the coaching staff. LA hosts draft prospects. There are more changes to come.

Jared Dudley doesn’t need to free Alex Caruso

Dudley enjoys his Eurotrip and the best has yet to come. He is getting ready for the new season.

Alex Caruso was arrested for possession in Texas. But, the talented player is doing just fine.

Dennis Schroder would love to return to LA and he would love to make $100 million or more. Maybe he will explore unrestricted free agency. How much will the Lakers offer in the next few months?

On July 4, Schroder shared a vlog of him getting shots at the Lakers practice.

Talen Horton-Tucker may be in line for a big deal. He may get a back-loaded maximum deal.

The 20-year-old is doing some cool workouts to increase his value.

The Lakers brought Andre Drummond in the middle of the season. He started 31 games in LA.

On Tuesday, Drummond threw shade at LA head coach Frank Vogel. He blamed Vogel for the underwhelming production. The big man is earning $15 million per season. What’s next on the list for him?

Let’s see what happens this summer. That’s the only thing we can do right now.
