Kevin Durant Hit With LeBron James Truth Bomb by Nets’ Steve Nash

Kevin Durant is making headlines again and this time the whole thing is related to LeBron James. The Brooklyn Nets veteran faced serious backlash at the very same moment he decided to part ways with the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2016.

Durant has been around for a while but fans still have concerns about his reputation in the NBA.

Kevin Durant is well aware of LeBron James and his power

Matt Sullivan reported that Nash and Durant first linked in 2016 right before the two-time Finals MVP decided to go somewhere else. Nash told Durant what LeBron, Michael Jordan, and Kobe Bryant had accomplished in his career.

“You know what I respect about LeBron?” Nash told KD (h/t to fadeawayworld.net). “I respect the fact that when he got to Miami and he got sick of the narratives, sick of the haters, all the talk. You know what he did? LeBron just said f-ck it and was great. Same with Michael, same with Kobe. Same with all the greats. They all had to say fuck it and then they were all on that next level. So you know what you gotta do? You just gotta say ‘f-ck it’ like LeBron did.”

The rest is history. Durant arrived in the Bay Area and won two titles with Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors. He missed the chance to win a third ring with Curry and the rest of the Warriors nation. KD made another move and joined the Brooklyn Nets before the start of the 2019-20 NBA season.

The Nets veteran and Nash try to control the narrative in Brooklyn. They are doing their best to give the team the first title in franchise history. Durant had a chance to win a championship, but he missed the opportunity. His team struggled with injuries. James Harden and Kyrie Irving sustained injuries and Durant had to carry the team on his back. Will things improve in 2021-22? Let’s wait and see what happens next.
