LeBron James makes history again
The kid from Akron is the first player in league history to pass this threshold whole active. He is also the sixth athlete in this world to hit this mark. Tiger Woods, Floyd Mayweather, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Roger Federer are on this list. When it comes to other NBA players, Brooklyn Nets veteran Kevin Durant is the closest player to hit this milestone. He sits at $580 million in career earnings. Stephen Curry is right next to him with $430 million.
LeBron has hit this milestone that no other US athlete has ever reached. Well, he won’t be the last one to accomplish this. Durant is only $420 million away from the mark. The Nets will give him $84 million and his shoe deal with Nike will give him another $85 million through 2024. Durant has made investment deals through Thirty-Five Ventures and these bring him a lot of money. If he stays healthy, Durant will be able to play at least 5-7 years.
