LeBron James Says 1 High School Player Is ‘Up Next!’

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James follows every move in the NBA, including the development of high school stars. He was an excellent prospect back in the days and the Cleveland Cavaliers got him with the first overall pick in the 2003 Draft.

LeBron has so much to say about the game and people actually listen to him. He has excellent basketball IQ and everyone would love to learn more from him. If you are one of these guys, check out his latest tweet.

The kid from Akron has just endorsed one of the best high school recruits in the nation.

LeBron James trusts the high school talent

On Thursday afternoon, the four-time NBA champion tweeted “Emoni Bates up next” and we all know what that means. The king of basketball decided to write about a young player. We have at least one good reason to say that LeBron noticed the kid’s potential.

Bates is the No.2 recruit in the 2022 class. He competes in the Peach Jam tournament this week in Georgia. On Wednesday, he hit 19 points in his very first Elite Youth Basketball League match of the session.

The talented forward returned to Bates Fundamentals after leaving the team for Team Final in May. The 6-foot-9 player made some bad moves in Wednesday’s games, but LeBron decided to give him enough support to move on with the great deal.

NBA analysts considered him a top recruit in his class for a few years. However, Jalen Duren took the throne, pushing Bates to the second position,

“Formerly committed to Michigan State, Bates can get off a shot whenever and however he wants and he’s an elite scorer,” Eric Bossi of 247Sports wrote. “However, he also looks to have hit a bit of a roadblock in his development since we last updated the 2022 rankings in November of 2020.”

LeBron can spot a real potential and we can’t wait to see more of Bates. He is entering a good group and will probably face a lot of challenges. King James is here to support him and other rookies.
