Magic Johnson Hits Team USA With LeBron James Truth Bomb After Olympics Loss

Magic Johnson has something to say about Team USA and the Olympics loss, and it goes all the way to Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James.

The NBA legend watched Team USA struggle on the floor in the Olympics. These guys struggled and Johnson knows why. If you ask the Hall of Famer, he will say it’s because the team doesn’t have LeBron. Simple as that.

The former director of basketball operations had something to say after Team USA lost the match to the French national team. It was an awful 83-86 loss. According to Johnson, the national team lacked a strong leader. We all know that LeBron James is the best leader in the NBA so Johnson is absolutely right. Johnson added that LeBron is the “best leader in the game of basketball and someone who makes his teammates better.” He has nothing but words of praise for King James and basketball fans will sure support him.

LeBron would have helped Team USA avoid the Olympics loss

Team USA was packed with talent. Kevin Durant and Draymond Green led the team. These two have already played on the international stage and won.

Team USA didn’t really have time to get ready. Superstars don’t even know a thing about the FIBA officiating. These two reasons led to the terrible outcome. Players were unable to unleash their full potential and their struggles won’t end in the near future.

Evan Fournier said, “they are better individually but they can be beaten as a team.”

LeBron is the best basketball player of all time and Team USA could really use his skills. He has incredible basketball intelligence and the team would have won with his help. LeBron made three Olympics trips and this year’s team tried to get him on the floor in Tokyo.

When it comes to Johnson, he was playing with the 1992 Dream Team. He recognized the importance of a true leader in the national team. LeBron fits in this role perfectly. Well, his team missed the chance to win a title this season and he is using his free time to get ready for the next challenge. It’s a new season for the kid from Akron.
