N’Keal Harry’s Trade Value Revealed

Third-year wideout N’Keal Harry ended up on the trade block and now we have more info on his value. Jeremy Fowler from ESPN has the details.

So, if the Patriots want to trade Harry before this summer’s training camp, they will get a conditional sixth-round selection. Will Bill Belichick even agree to this?

This is quite shocking. Harry was a first round pick for the Patriots. But, the wideout had limited production and spend a lot of time on injured reserve. In other words, NFL teams wouldn’t risk too much to get him.

The Kansas City Chiefs showed interest in Harry in 2019.

Analysts discuss N’Keal Harry and his trade value

Charles Goldman of USA Today said the Chiefs may try to get Harry. He also mentioned the receiver’s poor status in comparison to Mecole Hardman’s numbers.

“Do the Chiefs feel that Harry is an improvement over the players they currently have? How much will he cost in trade and do they value him enough to give up draft capital? Those are things that we can’t exactly predict. In two seasons with the Patriots, Harry has only managed 414 receiving yards and four touchdowns. That’s hardly good production in the NFL and not even half of the totals that Mecole Hardman has in the past two seasons. What we do know is that the Chiefs did show interest in N’Keal Harry ahead of the 2019 NFL draft, but the team was without a first-round pick after the Frank Clark trade. Harry revealed to Chiefs Wire that he had been interviewed by Kansas City at the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine, but he didn’t specify whether it was a formal or informal interview.”

Newton likes N’Keal Harry

Veteran quarterback Cam Newton is a real supporter. He called him battered in an I Am Athlete interview.

Harry got to work with Tom Brady and numerous reports confirmed the issues he had. TB12 questioned Harry’s work ethic in 2019.

“He’s missed a lot of football,” the former Patriots quarterback said. “Just got to try to work at it every day. It’s gonna be up to him to put the effort in. Everyone’s there to help him, but you’ve got to go out there and do it, and earn it and earn the trust of your teammates.”

Harry is trying to and improve his chances somewhere else. Is New England a bad area for him? Let’s wait and find out. For now, we can only attribute his failure to his own deficiencies.
