Report: Latest on N’Keal Harry, Patriots Situation Amid Trade Request

The New England Patriots will probably part ways with one of their wideouts. Recent updates suggest that N’Keal Harry is really serious about his trade request. He would love to try his chance somewhere else. Wonder why? Harry doesn’t see himself as a Patriot. He made an official announcement through his agent. His request was made publicly and we can only predict his next move.

Some would say that Harry may leave the Patriots at the end of the summer. The former first-round pick failed to perform in New England and he will have to make a new decision.

Harry’s agent last week announced he had submitted a formal trade request to the organization. In the last few days, we heard a lot about the Patriots’ reaction to the request. What will the Patriots get? As you may know, head coach Bill Belichick will probably get a conditional sixth-round pick for Harry. Horrible compensation, right?

Where will Harry go? The Houston Texans seem like a good option and the same applies to the Atlanta Falcons. At least six teams have shown interest in Harry at some point of the last three seasons.

N’Keal Harry may not end up on the trade block

NFL insider Josina Anderson provided an update into Harry’s situation surrounding the wideout and the Patriots.

“Update: As dialogue continues with the team, I’m told the current plan is for Patriots WR N’Keal Harry to attend training camp,” Anderson tweeted. “In his ongoing preparation for team activities, Harry currently has plans to train with T.J. Houshmandzadeh, per source.”

There are several options for the Patriots at the moment. Maybe Harry will get a roster spot in training camp and the whole thing will end up well for both parties. But, maybe he and the Patriots will part ways and look for a different alternative.

The Patriots will enter training camp Wednesday, July 28. Harry may join his teammates and then find the best option for his career. His first two seasons in the NFL were bad and he missed too much time due to injuries.
