4 Predictions For Preseason Week 2 Patriots vs Eagles Game

NFL fans are getting ready for the second preseason game between the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles. They had a joint practice Tuesday and the Eagles had a good performance. This will be a big challenge for Cam Newton and his teammates. There are four major predictions for head coach Bill Belichick and his team.

Josh Uche elevates his game

Uche had a rocky start to his professional career. He is a backup player behind Kyle Van Noy. However, he did a good job in the Patriots defense in training camp and actually stepped back when Van Noy sustained his injury. Patriots coaches like his development. We believe Uche will see more playing time on Thursday night.

Rhamondre Stevenson to have a big run

In Game 1 of the preseason, Stevenson had a good play. He took it to the house on a 91-yard TD run. He was a great running back in college and showed great abilities in the game against the Washington Football Team. Maybe he will make a big noise in Game 2 of the preseason.

Dominant preseason performance in Patriots vs Eagles match

Jacobi Meyers is a star

Of course. He is the most consistent receiver on Josh McDaniels’ offense. He is coming off of an excellent season with the Patriots despite the bad result. The Patriots signed a lot of pass options in the offseason, but Meyers is the favorite target for Newton and rookie Mac Jones.

Cam Newton and Mac Jones dominate the field

As usual. These two saw action in the win against Washington. Belichick will probably put them on the field together again to see their real skills there’s an ongoing competition in New England, remember? This makes us believe that both quarterbacks will try their best to win the top job.

Jones was brilliant in Game 1, but Drew Bledsoe believes Belichick should rest his rookie for a year before giving him a bigger role in 2021.

Analysts and fans have made so many predictions about the 2021 Patriots. Some of these will turn big at some point of the season.
