Anthony Davis Makes Pivotal Basketball Change Ahead of 2021-22 NBA Season

The Los Angeles Lakers are coming off of a disappointing season. They were eliminated in the first round of the NBA playoffs. The Phoenix Suns did a better job on the floor. It’s time for a big change. Rob Pelinka added enough depth to both ends of the ball. He brought Russell Westbrook to the roster. Carmelo Anthony will get a chance to win his first ring. The veteran guard has worked out with LeBron James and they have already created the perfect plan. Anthony Davis is ready for a big change too.

The Lakers big man missed the chance to win another ring. Everything points to the fact that the superstar will change his approach. Any suggestions?

Anthony Davis is ready to make a big change

The 28-year-old sustained a groin injury at the end of the 2020-21 NBA season. He had to miss a big portion of the first-round battle against the Phoenix Suns. LA had a low performance and players had to go home without a win.

“After the season ended, there have been many conversations about Davis’s condition, and he can stay healthy for the Lakers moving forward,” wrote Landon Buford of Landonbuford.com

“I recently spoke with a league source, and they shared that ‘Klutch Sports’ had gotten him a trainer to help keep Davis in proper condition to be available next season.”

Davis was averaging 17.4 points and 6.6 rebounds in the playoffs.

When healthy, AD is one of the best players in the league. When it comes to career averages, Davis has numbers like 23.9 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game with the team. LA looks a lot different now and LeBron is pretty optimistic about the team.

The Lakers will be an elite contender in the upcoming season and nothing will stop them in the quest for a title. Of course, veterans have to stay healthy to make the big game and come home with a win. They all want rings.
