Cam Newton Posts Alarming Instagram About Loyalty

The New England Patriots had good performance in Game 1 of the preseason. Players had a good time during the 22-13 win. So, what made Cam Newton write a post about loyalty? The 2015 NFL MVP took to Instagram to deliver a message and we don’t know anything about the reasons he had to write this.

This post shocked NFL fans early Friday morning.

Newton always posts following his games. This one is definitely raising eyebrows.

“I’m far from perfect,” Newton wrote. “But loyalty, I deserve it.”

We can think of so many scenarios at this point. Was this somehow related to Mac Jones? We all noticed that Newton had lower preseason snap count than his younger teammate. Maybe this was related to his future with the team. Will the Patriots move on from Newton? Jones was great in Game 1 of the preseason and Bill Belichick may easily put him under center.

There are so many possibilities on the table. Newton likes to post on Instagram. Reading between the lines seems to be impossible at this point because Newton’s post was wrapped in mystery.

Newton has nothing but words of praise for his younger teammate. But he has been part of the NFL for quite some time and losing the job to a rookie player seems really unfair at this point. Jones has a really good chance to stop Newton from being the Patriots’ long-term solution at quarterback. The young player is all smiles and he is definitely not someone who complains all the tame. The first-rounder looks like someone who could spend many years in Foxboro. Reminds you of someone?

Newton deserves loyalty and he will probably stay around for a while. Belichick will make the right move at this point and we can’t wait to see what happens next. Patriots fans greeted Jones with rousing ovation. We all know what that means. They like him. Jones earned a round of applause in training camp, too. That kid is a fan-favorite.
