Damian Lillard has something to say about Carmelo Anthony and his decision to leave the Portland Trail Blazers. The veteran will join LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason. Melo is willing to give himself a chance to win a ring. We all know that Melo can do that with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Dame may be happy to see Melo ink a deal with the Lakers. But, he is not ready to show his true excitement.

Melo confirmed his one-year deal with the Lakers. He took to his Instagram account to thank the Blazers for the great opportunity. The Portland Trail Blazers gave Melo a chance to play basketball. The veteran was out of the basketball court for a year and the Blazers agreed to give him a deal. Many thought that Melo’s professional career is over. Well, he is part of the big game now. Melo tried his chances with the Blazers and now he is off to something bigger.

Melo is grateful for everything the Blazers did for him. He expressed his gratitude and said the city has allowed him to “love the game of basketball again.”
