Gilbert Arenas Mocks LeBron James and Lakers Players

Gilbert Arenas took a shot at LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers teammates right after the team confirmed its latest signings.

The Los Angeles Lakers played really bold on the first day of free agency. They brought Carmelo Anthony, Trevor Ariza, Dwight Howard, Ellington, Bazemore, Russell Westbrook Nunn, and Monk. LeBron likes these picks and he can’t wait to play some real basketball with his new teammates.

Well, Arenas doesn’t like this and he took to Instagram to mock the current Lakers roster. The former NBA All-Star listed all the Lakers signings along with their respective age. A low blow… Arenas can do better than this. He can’t take a jab at the Lakers. I mean, NBA analysts know that Rob Pelinka is building a championship-winning team around LeBron and Anthony Davis.

Gilbert Arenas may be jealous of LeBron James and his teammates

The Lakers are considered contenders at this point of the offseason. Why did Arenas take a jab at the Lakers?

The Lakers signed several NBA veterans, giving them short deals. These players really like the idea of winning a ring with the Lakers. Initial reports suggested that many NBA players would love to spend time on the Lakers roster just to add a ring to their resume.

Pelinka’s team boasts one of the oldest rosters in NBA history. The Lakers have five star players who are 35+. What does that mean? Absolutely nothing. These players play elite basketball, and LeBron will his best to get the best of them.

LA is loaded with talent and Arenas made a false remark. Maybe he is just jealous at the Lakers for looking this good.

Lakers players need to stay healthy if they want to win a championship. LeBron and AD missed a lot of time last season. AD is prone to injuries and he should be careful about that. LA can’t risk to lose him once again. Health is the only concern analysts have right now and we understand that.

How will Frank Vogel handle his lineup? He can make a few changes with all the stars on the roster.
