JaVale McGee Responds to Report That he Enjoyed Playing With LeBron James More Than Playing With Stephen Curry

Former Los Angeles Lakers JaVale McGee will always remember playing with LeBron James. They had a really good game together but had to part ways. McGee left the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron is still part of the team.

The NBA big man spent time with the Lakers but he was also playing with Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors. In other words, he is able to make a difference between LeBron and Curry. Let’s not forget that McGee won two rings with the Warriors. He won one championship with the Lakers. It was a wild run for the team and they won a title inside the bubble in Orlando.

McGee picked a side and he will probably stick with it. What’s like playing with LeBron?

It was a mind-blowing AMA, and McGee made the best memories during his time with LeBron. In other words, he had more fun playing with LeBron than he did with the Warriors superstar.

From 2016 to 2018, McGee was part of the Warriors family. He joined forces with Curry and helped him lead the team. The Warriors were winning games with little to no effort. It was a successful stint for McGee. Of course, everything has to come to an end.

The Lakers made an offer in 2018, and McGee was happy to accept it. He left the Warriors to enter a disappointing season. The Lakers struggled in LeBron’s absence as he missed a lot of games due to his groin injury.

McGee has great memories with the Warriors, too. He said former teammate Andre Iguodala was the best mentor he has had in his lengthy career.

“Andre Iguodala. He taught me to be more of a professional when it comes to not just basketball, but investing and off-the-court things. He really helped me,” the veteran said.

The Warriors treated him well, and McGee says they made him feel like family.

McGee left the Lakers, too. He signed with the Phoenix Suns and it’s time for a fresh start.

A lot of players switch teams this offseason. Almost everyone parted ways on good terms but we can’t help but wonder. Will Curry get mad at his former teammate?
