JaVale McGee’s Latest LeBron James Truth Bomb Is Going To Make Stephen Curry Sad

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has a few good reasons to make Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry sad. These two went against one another on multiple occasions. The Golden State won a few titles, but LeBron’s Cleveland Cavaliers overcame a 3-1 deficit to win the championship in 2016. LeBron helped the Cavaliers win the first title in team history. We bet Curry and his teammates weren’t that happy back then.

Former Warriors and Lakers big man JaVale McGee has something to say about the mighty duo. He had the chance to play with both superstars and he knows them really well. LeBron is the king of basketball, and Curry has exceptional skills on the floor. McGee enjoyed his time with these two but he really liked his time with the Lakers more.

LeBron James is better than Stephen Curry, and the Warriors veteran should be sad

In his recent AMA with Bleacher Report, McGee talked about this experience and all the goodness he saw. Of course, McGee is not someone who sugarcoats things. His answer wasn’t vague. As you may be guessing, he enjoyed his time with LeBron and the Lakers.

“I would probably say LeBron the first year I was on the Lakers,” the new Phoenix Suns center replied.

Curry won’t like this response. McGee won two rings with the Warriors in his two-year stint with the team. But, we understand the reasons McGee had to make this comment.

LeBron joined the Lakers in the summer of 2018. McGee had a big role with the team that year, starting 62 of 75 games in the 2018-19 season. Let’s not forget that he started in just 27 games in two years with the Warriors.

McGee threw out his best numbers in his debut as a Laker. He had career-high 12.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game.

The Lakers didn’t win a championship that season, but McGee had fun in his first year with the team. It was like a rehearsal as the Lakers won a title the following season. He has a ring, too.
