Kyle Kuzma Subtle 2-Word Shade at LeBron James, Lakers Experience

Did Kyle Kuzma just throw shade at LeBron James? The Los Angeles Lakers removed Kuzma from the roster and sent him to the Washington Wizards. Montrezl Harrell and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Kuzma is no longer a Laker, and he used his time to throw shade at the purple and gold. The Lakers really needed Russell Westbrook and Kuzma had to go.

Kuzma was part of the trade rumors for quite some time. It turns out that these rumors were real. He was a young talented prospect and Lakers fans really liked him. However, things changed inside the bubble and Kuzma faced serious criticism. He did win a ring with the Lakers but he really struggled to score. His inconsistency was really a problem. But, Kuzma was really disappointed by his inconsistent play.

Kuzma will enter the new season with the Wizards. He will get a chance to do things differently. Maybe he really needed a chance to spread his wings somewhere else. That’s what he wrote on social media. The Lakers traded him away and he spoke out a month ago about the lack of consistency on the field.

Tyler Conway from Bleacher Report wrote the following:

“My biggest thing is I just want to play within a consistent role,” Kuzma said. “If I have that ability, I’ll be able to showcase what I can really do. There were parts of this year—and even anywhere else in my career—when I’m in a consistent space, I’m out there handling the ball, making teammates better, scoring, shooting, defending, rebounding. I think if I’m in that space, I’ll be good.”

The young player was a near 20-point scorer but had to change his game to play along superstars on the Lakers roster. Kuzma is part of the Wizards now and he will try to hit the same numbers again.

The Lakers signed Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, Trevor Ariza, Kendrick Nunn, and a few other veterans in their bid to win a title. LeBron likes his current team and he has high expectations from his teammates.
