Lakers Icon Robert Horry Demolishes ‘Disaster’ Dennis Schroder For Free Agency Mistake

Robert Horry watched Dennis Schroder spoil his free agency plan and his reaction was more than expected.

Schroder had different plans for his offseason but his plans didn’t work. The Los Angeles Lakers free agent has yet to find a home in the NFL. He is not even close to signing with a team. NBA experts reported that teams are not really interested in Schroder’s services.

Robert Horry warns Dennis Schroder

Horry is now adding salt to injury.  The Lakers legend went on The Jump and criticized for Schroder for playing games with LA despite wanting to return.

“You said, ‘Oh, I want to return to the Lakers.’ But you wanted to play games. Now you are the disaster of your own game plan. You don’t know what you’re going to do. You probably lost about $60 million because you didn’t sign with the Lakers. Now you’re probably going to have to sign a one-year deal because I don’t think the Lakers are going to bring you back because they’re stacked now. They have no room for you.

“He wanted to be a starter in this league,” the Lakers legend continued. Now wherever he goes, he’s going to go back to being a back-up. I just hope it doesn’t turn out like an IT situation where you pass up on all this money, and you can never recoup it.”

Well we would say that Horry made a few good points here. Los Angeles really wanted to keep Schroder on the roster. They even offered him a contract extension.

The front office has moved on from Schroder, and Pelinka made a few moves to replace him. In other words, the clock is ticking for Dennis Schroder. He may have made a huge mistake in his life. Will the veteran regret his decision? Let’s see what happens next in the big city.

The Lakers have added a bunch of great players, including Russell Westbrook. Carmelo Anthony will join forces with LeBron and Trevor Ariza will share the court with his rival.
