LeBron James’ Goodbye Gift to Kyle Kuzma After Russell Westbrook Trade to Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers are parting ways with three players from the 2020-21 roster. They got Russell Westbrook from the Washington Wizards and he is the third superstar behind LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will be looking for a home somewhere else. Some say Kuzma will make his way to the Brooklyn Nets in a sign-and-trade deal. The young player said he was a Laker for life. He was a fan favorite but things got a bit rough in the past few seasons as Kuzma struggled with inconsistencies. The Los Angeles Lakers are saying their final ‘goodbye,’ and LeBron has a gift for Kuzma.

The four-time NBA champion has nothing but words of praise for Kuzma. He wished good riddance to his former teammate. Jared Dudley joined LeBron and they threw a party for Kuzma.

LeBron and Dudley’s gift to Kuzma is awesome

LeBron likes his teammates and he always does the best for them. He wants the best for young Kuzma because he sure deserves a fresh start. Kuzma had a nice role inside the bubble in Orlando and he helped the Lakers win their title.

We don’t have much info on Kuzma’s next move, but as previously mentioned, he may join Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets. What about Harrell and KCP? Well, we will have to wait and see what happens next.

LeBron and Dudley didn’t miss the chance to send their former teammate off in a good way.

AD, LeBron, and Westbrook look really good on the basketball court. The front office will have to give them more power through role players. Rob Pelinka will be super busy this offseason and he wants to rebuild the roster. Several NBA veterans have been linked to the Lakers, and Carmelo Anthony is one of them. Melo knows LeBron well, and he can contribute to the team next season.

Kuzma may get to play against his former team at some point. That would be the game you don’t want to miss. For now, Kuzma will have to adjust to a new team.
