LeBron James Shares Devastating Reaction to Loss of a Dear Teammate

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James had an expected reaction to the loss of his great teammate. Jared Dudley is out of LA. The veteran didn’t have crazy stats but his veteran leadership was of utmost importance in the locker room. Dudley had a big role with the team in the last two seasons and he has just announced his decision to retire and become an assistant coach.

Many thought that Dudley would play for one more season. I guess he had different plans.

Dudley accepted an assistant coaching job with the Dallas Mavericks and brought his playing career to an end. We don’t know if he would ever play at the Staples Center. The former Laker just wanted to stay in the NBA and being a coach sure means a thing.

LeBron James can’t get over the loss of his teammate

LA will miss his leadership on the floor. They do have LeBron. When it comes to the king of basketball, he couldn’t hide his emotions this time. He didn’t want to see Dudley leave Los Angeles.

LeBron took to his Twitter to speak his mind on Dudley’s departure.

Dudley and LeBron had an incredible connection. Their bond became stronger over time and now will go against one another.

Dudz will join former Lakers assistant coach Jason Kidd. The latter became a head coach in Dallas, and these two will now join forces. Dudley delivered his message to the Lakers, Jeanie Buss, LeBron, Anthony Davis, and the rest of the team.

Truth is, Dudley wouldn’t have a ring if it weren’t for AD and LeBron. He won one title in his 14-year career and he is fine with that. The Lakers won a championship inside the Orlando bubble. He didn’t have a huge role, but hey, he was of great help in the process.

Dudley was a valuable player of the Lakers and his absence will sure be felt. LA has a lot of veterans on the roster this time. Rob Pelinka signed many veterans in the offseason. Although the Lakers have the oldest roster in the NBA this season, they have incredible chance to become champions.
