Patriots Release Injury Update on N’Keal Harry

The New England Patriots won the second game of the preseason and beat the Philadelphia Eagles. Players had great performance, but one of the wide receivers left Lincoln Financial Field with an injury. The Patriots provided an injury update on N’Keal Harry.

Harry left the stadium with an obvious injury. The team celebrated the 35-0 preseason win, but this injury got everyone worried.

Josh Tolentino from The Athletic shared a photo of Harry and his injury. The 23-year-old fell on the left shoulder while going in for a dive to catch a deep ball from Mac Jones in the first half of the game. As you may have noticed, the ball slipped through his hands.

The young wideout finished the game with one reception on two targets for 19 yards. Harry targeted once in 36 snaps in last week’s preseason game against the Washington Football Team. He caught one pass for four yards.

A big injury update on young N’Keal Harry

Harry underperformed in his first two seasons with the Patriots. He also requested a trade through his agent. This happened before the start of training camp but things haven’t changed much in the past few weeks.

The wideout struggled with consistency, but the first-rounder is in the middle of his best summer. Patriots coaches noticed great improvement and 2021 may be his best season so far.

Head coach Bill Belichick didn’t reveal much about Harry and his future with the team. The wide receiver said he was fine with being a Patriot. Is he staying in New England?

Harry’s situation with the Patriots raised too many questions in the offseason. He struggled to perform with the Patriots and failed to connect with former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. But Newton really likes him and even praised his skill set. If you ask Newton, he will say that Harry has so much to offer in the regular season.

The Patriots will have two joint practices with the New York Giants in Foxboro ahead of Sunday’s preseason finale. They will play the final game at MetLife Stadium. Things will be a lot clearer for the Patriots at that point. Some players will secure their spots on the active rosters while others will have to go.
