Report: Ex-Lakers Guard Likes to be Shooter LeBron James, Russell Westbrook Need on Floor

The Los Angeles Lakers have started making changes and they have three superstars on the roster. LeBron James and Anthony Davis will share the court with Russell Westbrook. The big trio looks well on the basketball court and NBA analysts have great expectations from the players.

The Lakers have been making headlines for a really long time. Westbrook’s addition added fuel to the fire and LA made some cool headlines lately. Of course, people like Skip Bayless criticized the move but we know that he doesn’t like LeBron and his teams.

LeBron is not even bothered with this one. Lakers players will have to develop strong relationship on the court as this relationship will help them win more games in the upcoming season.

There are three superstars on the roster and Rob Pelinka will have to add some role players. He needs more power on the bench and several NBA veterans would love to play with the Big 3.

LeBron James and Russell Westbrook could use some help from role players

The Lakers need to take care of their perimeter shooting. There are several options for the Lakers right now, and a former Laker would love to join the franchise. He was part of the team before LeBron arrived in LA.

“The Lakers need shooting. One name that is coming up is Patty Mills. He can shoot the lights out and would be great off the bench. Wayne Ellington is another shooter who has interest in rejoining the Lakers.”

San Antonio Spurs guard Patty Mills is a good addition. However, he may demand a big salary. LA can’t offer much at this point. Wayne Ellington may agree to a veteran’s minimum if it means getting open threes off strong passes from King James and Westbrook.

Ellington was a Laker in 2014-15. He was averaging double-figures while shooting 37% from deep. Ellington is a career 38.2% three-point shooter and was a big threat in 2020-21 with the Detroit Pistons. The Man with the Golden Arm shot 42.2% on six attempts.
